Graphic/Designy stuff:
Using the "Vormator" restriction of using only specific shapes. |
Paintings (with like paint-paint):
Transcription of Monet's, "Woman with a Parasol" |
Pretty happy with these, as I haven't really painted much before . There's a nice satisfying feel to painting with a brush that's different from tablets, but can't say I'm going to miss the mess, cleaning brushes, and huge batches of gouache drying out because I'm dumb.
I think doing fine detail with a brush is great way to build touch and dexterity. I'm even more amazed now by inkers and cel painters after trying it out a bit here - shaky shaky.
Digital stuff:
Starcraft fan art based off M.C. Escher's Sky and Water |
Cheesiness of text semi-intentional, apologies to any British people ha ha. |
MC Building in Waterloo from UW. 3ds Max and Photoshop |
Rough, digital painting studies:
Not too pleased with the digital paintings, but it's a start and I think I get how the settings work now.
This turned out to be a long post, just wanted to get the AFD stuff out of the way. Animation stuff Incoming.
